This policy explains which data may be processed when you browse the website or use the contact form, why it is processed and how you can exercise your rights.

Data controller

The data controller is Établissements Jean Barnoin, the company that publishes the website presented under the name Alpes Vision, at 11 rue Thiers, 38000 Grenoble. You can contact it by telephone on 04 76 87 01 97, through the secure form, by post or at contact [at] alpesvision.fr.

Contact form

Data concerned

The form may collect your full name, email address, telephone number if you choose to provide it, the subject of your enquiry, your message and proof of your consent to its processing. The address of the page from which the form is submitted may also be sent to Basin when URL capture is enabled.

Fields marked with an asterisk are required to send and process the enquiry. Without them, Alpes Vision will be unable to respond through this form. The telephone number is optional.

Purpose and legal basis

This data is used solely to receive your enquiry, forward it to the relevant team, reply to you and provide any necessary follow-up. Processing of the form is based on your consent, expressed by ticking the dedicated box before submission. You may withdraw this consent for the future; withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawfully carried out beforehand.

Do not submit health data

The form is intended for general, administrative or professional enquiries. Do not include any diagnosis, prescription, test result or other sensitive medical information. For an emergency or clinical question, contact a healthcare professional directly.

Service providers and recipients

Data is accessible only to authorised individuals within Alpes Vision who need it in order to reply. It may also be processed, within the scope of their respective roles, by the following service providers:

  • Basin (Moonshot Ventures Inc.), which receives, filters, stores and forwards form submissions on behalf of Alpes Vision. Basin describes itself as the processor of data defined by users of its service.
  • Cloudflare, Inc., whose Turnstile service protects the form against bots and abuse. In particular, Turnstile processes technical signals such as the IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent header, the widget’s public key and the associated origin.
  • Infomaniak Network SA, the website’s Swiss hosting provider, for technical data strictly necessary to provide and secure the website. Infomaniak states that it operates its infrastructure and hosts entrusted data in Switzerland.
  • Google Analytics, an audience measurement service activated only with your consent. It enables Alpes Vision to obtain statistics about pages viewed, devices used and the general origin of visits in order to improve the website.

Data is not sold and is not used by Alpes Vision for sales prospecting through this form.

Provider information: Basin privacy policy, Basin GDPR information, Turnstile privacy notice and Google privacy policy.

Protection against abuse with Turnstile

Cloudflare Turnstile is loaded only for the contact form and serves Alpes Vision’s legitimate interest in securing its service, preventing spam and keeping the form available. Cloudflare states that Turnstile signals are used to distinguish people from bots and improve abuse detection, and describes them as strictly necessary for this purpose.

Alpes Vision does not use Turnstile to create commercial profiles or display advertising. If the anti-abuse check cannot run, form submission may be unavailable; you can then call Alpes Vision on 04 76 87 01 97.

Retention periods

Messages received through the form are retained for as long as necessary to process and follow up the enquiry, then for a maximum of twelve months after the most recent exchange. They are then deleted, unless there is a legal obligation or a need relating to the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Any copies held in Basin and in the recipient inbox follow the same deletion policy. Submissions identified as abusive may be processed separately by Basin for spam prevention, in accordance with its own terms.

When you consent to audience measurement, Google Analytics cookies are configured to expire after no more than thirteen months without automatic renewal. Your choice to accept or refuse is stored for six months, after which you are asked again. The retention period for detailed data in the Google Analytics property must also be set to the minimum necessary in the service administration settings.

Processing outside the European Economic Area

Basin and Cloudflare are service providers established in the United States. Google Analytics may also involve processing by Google outside the European Economic Area. Where required by the GDPR, such processing must be governed by a recognised mechanism and appropriate safeguards.

This processing is governed by the providers’ data-protection commitments and contractual mechanisms, including Standard Contractual Clauses where required. Alpes Vision periodically reviews the applicable terms and limits transmitted data to what is necessary for the operation and protection of the form.

Google Maps map

The Google Maps map is not loaded automatically. It is activated only when you choose the display button. This action establishes a connection with Google, which may receive technical data such as your IP address, browser information and the page visited, and may read or place tracking technologies according to its own configuration.

You can refuse to load it without losing access to the rest of the website. The Alpes Vision address remains displayed in plain text and an external link to Google Maps may be provided. Read the Google privacy policy before activating the map.

Cookies and other tracking technologies

Alpes Vision uses Google Analytics with measurement ID G-DY6W5FNQVW to count visits and understand which pages are viewed. Google Signals and advertising personalisation features are disabled. No form data or patient-specific identifier is intentionally sent to Analytics.

The Google Analytics file is not loaded and no audience measurement data is sent until you select “Accept”. You can choose “Reject all” just as easily. Continuing to browse does not constitute consent.

After consent, Google Analytics may place cookies whose names notably begin with _ga. You may change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Manage cookies” button in the footer. If you withdraw consent, Analytics cookies accessible to the website are deleted and the service will no longer be loaded on subsequent pages.

Local storage used solely to remember your acceptance or refusal is necessary to respect your choice. Resources connected with anti-abuse protection remain limited to the form’s use, and the Google Maps map remains blocked until you take deliberate action.

Your rights

Under the conditions laid down by the GDPR, you may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, restriction of its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interests, withdraw your consent and, where the conditions are met, exercise your right to data portability.

You can exercise these rights by writing to Alpes Vision, 11 rue Thiers, 38000 Grenoble, or through the contact form by choosing the administrative enquiry subject. To protect your data, proof of identity may be requested only where reasonable doubt remains as to your identity.

If, after contacting us, you believe your rights have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL).
